Mobile Waiter App

The UCH Waiter App empowers your floor staff to take orders quickly and efficiently, directly at the customer's table.

Connecting to the POS​

The Waiter App operates over your restaurant's local WiFi network, meaning it requires zero internet connection to function.

  • Staff can access the app using any smartphone, tablet, or handheld device by navigating to the local IP address of the main Desktop POS.
  • Waiters use a unique PIN to log into their specific profile.

Taking Orders at the Table​

  • Interactive Table Map: Waiters can see a color-coded map of the restaurant to quickly identify available, occupied, and reserved tables.
  • Digital Menu: Browse the complete restaurant menu with high-quality images and descriptions.
  • Instant KOTs: Once an order is confirmed, the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) is instantly transmitted to the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and the main POS cash register.

Modifiers & Custom Requests​

  • easily select variations (e.g., "Medium Rare", "No Onions", "Extra Cheese") using pre-configured modifiers.
  • Add custom text notes for special dietary requirements or customer preferences.
  • The app prevents invalid combinations based on the menu rules set in the CRM.
